Poster Presentation

The accepted abstracts will be presented in the form of a poster lecture. The evaluation will be carried out by two reviewers. Please note the following instructions for the design and presentation of your posters:

Criteria for poster presentations

  • The first author of the poster moderates the poster presentation.
  • In case of absence (e.g. due to illness or business trip) it is possible to appoint a deputy scientist for the presentation. The scientist must be one of the authors of the registered poster.
  • The PI of the first author is not entitled to represent the presentation.
  • Each speaker is only allowed to present one poster.
  • Each poster presentation is scheduled for 3 minutes of lecture and 2 minutes for discussion.
  • The presentation language is English.
  • Authors will be informed about the timelines for poster presentation by e-mail in a timely manner.

Criteria for reviewing

The poster presentations will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

Lecture

scientific content: expertise, methodology, comprehensibility, timeliness, relevance, critical reflection
manner of performance: structure, clarity, focus, time management
originality: novelty, approach, contribution to further development of the field

Poster

clear statement of the poster: presentation, comprehensibility, conclusions
structuring of the poster: organization, logical arrangement, readability
optical incentive: layout, visual design
