Young Scientist Prize for special achievements
in research of Medicine and Life Sciences
Prizes for the scientific achievements of the projects presented will be awarded by the Leipzig Research Festival based on the quality of the abstract and the poster presentation by the scientific author.
The winners are selected by qualified, independent professors of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Life Sciences. The prizes each consist of a certificate and prize money worth €200.00. The prizes will be publicly awarded by a representative of the Program Committee as part of the Research Festival.
Award criteria:
- One poster per topic will be awarded.
- The first author of the poster receives the prize. If the first author does not hold the poster presentation, the prize is awarded to the presenter.
- The award is personal.

Audience award:
Furthermore, visitors of the Research Festival of Life Sciences have the opportunity to assign an Audience award.

Short lectures:
Each awardee is asked to present their poster in a two-minute short presentation at the end of the 17th Research Festival of Life Sciences.
