The investigation of changes in physical properties of cells during malignant transformation is an emerging field in cancer research and cell biology. The “Physics of Cancer” (PoC) symposium annually held at the University of Leipzig intends to bring together researchers from world-wide pioneering groups that are exploring the physical mechanisms underlying cancer progression.
