Membership

The International Association for Buddhist Studies (IABS) is a learned society dedicated to promoting and supporting scholarship in Buddhist Studies in a spirit of non-sectarian tolerance and with specific research and communication as preeminent objectives. Membership is open to scholars of all academic disciplines. 

The International Association for Buddhist Studies depends on the support of its members. As for all other previous meetings of the International Association of Buddhist Studies, participation in the XX^th IABS Congress requires you to be an IABS member. Please make sure you are registered. If you are not yet, please turn to the IABS Membership page. Initial enquiries about eligibility should be sent to the association’s General Secretary.
